Description: This is the iconic 2021 Hermès Shadow Birkin 25 crafted in swift leather in mint green color "Menthe". This bag was originally designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and introduced in 2009 and nearly a decade later reintroduced in limited numbers. For the Shadow, JPG wanted to create a trompe-l’œil effect through the illusion of a top flat and sangles, shown casually strewn. The bag has a different mechanism to close it than the typical Birkin design. The sangles or straps are inside the bag with snap mechanisms to tighten the opening (see photos 6 & 7). The bag has embossed flap, sangles and clochette details as well as palladium hardware base feet and it comes with a limited edition box.
